Saturday Picking Apples

Saturday we decided to go to the orchard and pick some apples. It was a lot of fun (and yummy too)! They have things for the kids to do there and it was all free (well, except for the apples, of course). How many places are fun, educational, entertaining and FREE anymore?

Feeding the goat:
Playing in the "cornbox" (a sandbox with corn instead of sand):

The corn maze:

The soybean maze (you can barely see Chloe's head):

And of course, picking apples!

They had a ball, and it is something that we certainly do again. Not to mention that the apples are delicious and cheaper than Wal-Mart!

Saturday afternoon, we met Denisha's friend (who was traveling to Louisville anyways) with Shania at Beaver Dam. So, we have her for at least a few days while Jordyn finishes up her hospital stay and gets settled into home. Today Shania, Chloe, and I are headed towards Nashville for a visit in a bit. Jordyn is missing familiar faces and I'm sure Shania is ready to see them too.

LOL! I posted it at 7:30ish, not 4:30ish. I'm not sure what the deal is.
