We had a church picnic Sunday night. The kids were climbing around on some trees. We didn't think much of it until Abbi got up the next day with poison ivy on her face, arms, and legs. Poor baby! And tomorrow is school picture day. Oh well! I don't buy school pictures anyways.

Poor Little Abbi.
I can remember those days myself. Don't let her suck honeysuckles or pick up leaves in the fall. I got it every time!!!

Leaves of three...let 'em be.
Hydrocortisone cream should help clear it up. Doesn't do a lot for the itching. If it gets too bad call the Doc for some oral prednisone.

It is getting better already and starting to dry out. I put a little face powder on her for school picture day, so hopefully I didn't mess it up, but she was so embarrassed. I don't buy the pics, but she will be in a composite photo with her class, and of course the "yearbook" (On DVD now)
Jamie is the one that recognized it, of course. I've never really had it and had not clue what was going on. My other kids were hanging around those same trees and were fine. Kind of like Davida and I were growing up!!!
What? The yearbook is on DVD? What is this world coming to?

Yes, DVD! I was highly disappointed in the quality of it though and while it was only $10, I'd much rather spend more on a good quality yearBOOK. I still like looking through old yearbooks. I doubt my kids will have the same feeling while popping in a very poor quality DVD where you can barely make out what people look like or their names.
They are trying to be "green" and save paper. I say...kill a few darn trees and give my kids some memories!
