Updates

This week has been very busy.

Micah has had play practice for his encore performance, which is going well. They had to replace 'Rooster' (you know, the bad guy?), and we were all kind of disappointed in that. That boy did such a fabulous job, but apparently he is a genius and has started college even though he is only 'suppose' to be in 9th grade. That makes me feel less smart just thinking about it. Anyways, they had to re-arrange a few of the characters, so it'll be interesting to see how the new little actor will play the part. Jamie will be the first to see the Encore on Friday night and I'll be seeing it Saturday afternoon.

Abbi is finishing up soccer for 2009. She is disappointed that it will be over. It has been a lot of fun for all of us. I'm very happy that we decided on the Upward program for this. She has built some confidence, learned the fundamentals, and had Christ in the center of it. Not to mention her coach just being fabulous. Coach Katie is a wonderful Christian lady! Saturday is her last game and Sunday afternoon is her awards.

Jamie and the girls are headed to Murray after the game on Saturday. Jamie is speaking at a youth rally or something for some friends of ours. It'll be whirlwind trip. The girls are tagging along to go visit with family. Micah has his performance, so we'll be staying back and after his play, we are going to do some fun things around town and eventually go out to eat, which is a treat for both of us. I told him that he will be the cutest little date that I've ever had!

Chloe had her first "playdate" yesterday. A friend of ours, her 3 year daughter, and baby came over to kill time while waiting for her oldest daughter to get out of pre-school. I think we are going to make it a bi-weekly event. It was good and bad. Chloe had a ball and she talked about it all day. It was nice for me to have some adult conversation. But, it was "bad", because Chloe really doesn't understand the sharing thing yet. It made for some stressful moments where her true colors came out. Maybe if she didn't have 3 siblings that spoil her rotten and give her whatever she wants, she might understand this a bit better!!!!

Things have been pretty 'normal' for Hannah this week. She is having a good week and looking forward to her trip this weekend.

Maybe after Sunday afternoon, we can breathe again!
